Kim Troup, community activist and volunteer, retired after a 35 year career in nonprofit leadership. She worked for several organizations in Nashville with her longest tenures at Bethlehem Centers of Nashville, the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the TN Kidney Foundation (TKF). She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Belmont University and furthered her education with graduate courses at Vanderbilt University in human resource development.
An active community volunteer, she is a past president of Davidson County Democratic Women. She served as President of the Board of Friends of Spencer Youth Center, Vice-President of the National Association of Volunteers in Criminal Justice and was an active Board member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and the Alumni Association of Belmont University.
